What locations can you shoot at?
Can we travel outside of central Tokyo for a shoot?
How long in advance should I book my shoot?
How do I make a reservation and pay a deposit? Please note that because the deposit secures your booking date, it is non-refundable regardless of circumstances. In the case of severe weather beyond anyone’s control we will refund the deposit. Thank you for your understanding.
To reserve your date, a ¥10,000 (about $100US) deposit is required.
Acceptable forms of Payment: Cash or Paypal.
(*Paypal incurs a 3% service charge + international fees = $105 deposit)
What is the payment schedule like?
*Photos will not be edited until the remainder of the balance has been settled.

Do you offer hair and make-up services?
What should I wear? If we’re doing a portrait shoot, wear something that expresses the mood you are going for. In the case of kimono shoots, the only limit is what the shop has. If we are doing Vacation/Photo walk, you should wear what’s normal for you. Being comfortable is important, since there will be some walk and lots of standing. Clothing you feel confident in is also important. The clothing you choose can really add something interesting to a shoot, and help you stand out. Keep that in mind. If we photographing 2 or more people, consider what the group will be dressed like. Consider the season, as this will help with choosing colors and themes.

What happens to my deposit if I decide to cancel?

What if a cancellation is beyond our control? Refunds will NOT be issued for any per-arranged services already rendered (for example; setting up an appointment at a Kimono Shop, etc). * Credit Card Fees, Bank Fees, & PayPal Fees are non-refundable.
What will happen if we don’t show up to for the shoot?
Further, any client that fails to honor the reservation, for any reason, is liable for the entire session fee, as well as travel fees of the photographer/crew, and any legal fees that might be accrued in the collection of said fees.

I don’t like my photos. Can I have my money back?
My friend got a discounted rate on their photo shoot. Can I have refund/discount? Further, in the interest of fairness to all customers, all rates are non-negotiable unless booked through a special promotion. Rates are also subject to change at any time.
I paid the full balance of my shoot and had to cancel 72 hours before the shoot/or the shoot was cancel due to weather, etc. Can I get a refund?
Our goal at Paw Print Photography is your satisfaction with the work you’ve purchased from us. Due to the nature of custom photography, all sales are final. Paw Print Photography does guarantee that the portraits you receive meet the highest standards in every respect.
